Our society store is situated at the allotments next to the Llantwit Major Fire Station on Llanmaes Road. The store is open every Sunday between 9.30am - 12.00pm for paying members only from the middle of January to the middle of December, closing for several weeks for our Christmas break.

The store stocks a wide variety of stock including compost, soil, fertilizers and improvers, plant food, pest controls, gardening gloves, horticultural fleece, weed membrane, watering canes, bamboo canes and much more. In the spring, orders are taken for bedding plants and in the winter we organise deliveries of potatoes, onion sets, shallots and garlic. We work hard to secure discounts and competitive prices for our members and we appreciate the support we get back.

The store is organised by our store manager and run entirely by volunteer members who man the store and help out. Volunteer members man the store on a Sunday morning and new faces are gratefully accepted - no need to commit to regular hours, all help however big or small is very much appreciated. Several times a year we have a delivery of stock, for which, help to unload is greatly appreciated.

The society is pleased to announce that we have completed the purchase of the land on which the society store stands.

This process began in February 2010 and continued until July of 2020.

The good news is this secures the future of our store and protects us against potential development in the years to come.
