September guest speaker report

In a last minute change to our advertised speaker, we were very grateful to Kevin Thomas who stepped in to save the day! Kevin is one of our regular speakers and was warmly welcomed.

Kevin`s topic was propagation, a subject close to his heart as it is part of his everyday working life. Kevin went through all the methods of propagation, from sowing seeds, taking soft tip, semi-ripe, and hardwood cuttings, to division of mature plants and leaf cuttings. As usual, the talk was interesting, informative, comical at times, and supported by lovely photography.

The talk was very well attended and enjoyed by all. A huge thankyou to Kevin who we will welcome back again in the near future!

There will be no guest speaker in October as we'll be holding our Annual General Meeting. We need a minimum of 30 members in attendance so please show your support by joining us, but if you can't make it please email us your apologies to count toward our numbers.
