IMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

The decision to increase the membership fee from £5 to £10 in January has caused huge problems for the committee. 

If you have been able to change your standing order with your bank or building society and are confident that you will be paying £10 in January 2026, please ignore this notice. 

If however you are not certain, please check to make sure that the payment due to the society in January 2026 will be for £10 and that your payment will use your membership number as reference. 

We have 14 Thomas', a lot of Jones, Williams, Evans etc and we do not want to allocate a payment to the wrong person. 

We think the £10 fee is very good value for money as this;

  • includes your partner

  • allows you to attend the monthly meetings with free tea, coffee and biscuits and a free raffle ticket where you can win a £15 voucher for our store

  • join the trips Elizabeth spends a lot of time planning around the country for a smaller fee

  • enables you to use our store to buy subsidized goods and order flowers, potatoes, onions, shallots and more, all at fantastic prices

  • gives you access to our monthly newsletter!
